Now that the site is working again, I want to take a minute and recap what happened over the last 2 days.
Chicksnbreasts was targeted by Flickr as a problem site and all the pictures were blocked from displaying. The problem with chicksnbreasts, according to Flickr, was the ads. Flickr founder Stewart Butterfield explained that Flickr isn’t around to serve businesses, but people. Since I've made about three bucks from the ads on cnb, I guess I'm technically a business. Sonofa...
He asked me to remove the ads and limit the number of photos per page, and I agreed. After all, this site is about sharing the appreciation of beautiful girls and their even more beautiful boobies. If I have to pull the ads to keep the site rolling, then as Hard Harry would say, so be it. Stewart was true to his word and removed the block as soon as I pulled the ads, and so chicksnbreasts is alive once again. Whatever happens in the future, I'll work hard to keep delivering the quality that you've come to expect.
One last thing I have to mention that really pissed me off is that chicksnbreasts was blocked soon after this post by Nick Starr of flickrlicious, the first site to be blocked by Flickr:
How about sites that do EXACTLY the same thing as FlickrLicio.us? Wouldn’t Flickr want to block them from displaying pictures as well? They aren’t though. WHY FLICKRLICIO.US? For evidence of this check FlickrBabes, FlickrChicks, FlickrBooty, and ChicksnBreasts. They all still have photos displayed on their sites.Nick Starr has since apologized for being a snitch, saying he was backed into a corner and felt as if he was being singled out. That excuse doesn't fly with me, and until I receive a direct apology and a complimentary bottle of Frank's Red Hot Sauce, he still gets the gas face.
